Reviews for Aplaya Taytay
Review highlights
Based on 145 reviewsAplaya Taytay is widely appreciated for its relaxed and clean ambiance, offering a casual, food park-style setting with a chill beach vibe. The establishment features a variety of food stalls serving diverse options such as ramen, coffee, local delicacies, and desserts like gelato, catering to different tastes. Customers frequently highlight the friendly and accommodating staff, along with affordable and flavorful dishes. However, space is limited with shared seating arrangements, which may challenge visitors’ social comfort. Accessibility is noted as a concern due to the location being somewhat remote and poorly lit, making commuting less ideal for non-residents. Overall, Aplaya Taytay is considered a pleasant and worthwhile stop for casual dining in Taytay.
In addition to being lovely, the area is peaceful. Since this establishment is small and the tables are limited, your social skills will be put to the test, considering that you will need to share a table with other customers. It's far away, and the road is dark; therefore, I don't advise commuting here if you don't reside in Taytay. Foods are also affordable and worth it .
I didn't got the chance to order foods here, I just took a peek of the place. Good ambiance and clean surroundings. Parking is available. Pizza, Korean snacks, coffee, ice cream, local delicacy like budbod are some of the foods available here. Check out the video in my post to see more of Aplaya
Currently they have 5 food stalls in the place with different offerings. ZuruRamen (ramen et al), Kape Mapya (coffee, waffles et al), Bud Bow (rice toppings), Lola Remedios (pansit & bbq meals) & East Cone (gelato). Tonkatsu Ramen - taste was to my boy's liking with single chasu Plain waffle - texture was firm and taste was just right and not too sweet Ube cheese & Mango-caramel gelato - yummy and crramy gelato Mixed pansit - serving was good for at least 3 persons, veggies were not overcooked and pancit taste was vey good which is not too greasy and not dry Chicken bbq meal - yummy rice and chix that was cooked right Takugami coffee - kalinga coffee taste that we like Matcha strawberry drink - not too sweet and balanced flavor
Ambiance was great, food was so good , the staffs at the shop were so nice
It's like a food park with a chill beach vibe. Common seating area where you can hang around while waiting for your food and drinks. Parking lot at the back with a few slots for cars. Place is clean. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Food is really good. There's a coffee shop and an ice cream place for dessert. Overall quite a cool place for a stopover with friends if you happen to be in the area. Admittedly what made me stop was the parking. This area has lots of stores but mostly parking for motorcycles only along narrow 2 lane road.
We ate at budbowl and the food was tasty, and the drinks at Kape Mapya were also great. I bought matcha latte, it was sweet for my preference so I added an espresso shot. Their signature chocolate also tastes good. The place has a really great shade due to the trees around it and it gives a cozy picnicky vibe. Some stalls open at 10-11am and some at 2pm, and they closes at 11pm I've been going back for many times with my friends and it's always a good experience.
I and my wife recently visited this cozy place with a boho theme and I must say I was impressed. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a lazy weekend brunch. What really caught my attention was the variety of food stalls they had. From Inihaw to Coffee, and BudBod they had it all. Also have stalls that still under construction. I will make a separate review for the food stalls. The boho theme added an extra touch of charm to the place, making it feel like a tropical paradise ("aplaya") The decorations were quirky and unique, from the wood lantern to cogon grass. I especially loved the seating area, it was comfortable and gave off a relaxed vibe. Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to try a variety of food in a cozy atmosphere. The prices were reasonable, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be back to try their other offerings.
The place was really breezy, thanks to its open space setup, perfect for the hot weather these days. The store itself is also super cute, giving beach vibes that totally match the chill atmosphere. I ordered pistachio, biscoff, and cookie dough gelato. (₱180) The pistachio was legit, you can really taste the real nutty flavor and there were actual pistachio bits in it. Biscoff also tasted like the real deal, but it leaned a bit more on the milky side. The cookie dough though… kinda confused me, it tasted like peanut butter instead, so now I’m not sure if I was given the wrong flavor or if that’s just how theirs tastes. Overall, it’s a good spot to cool down and the flavors didn’t disappoint, except for the cookie dough mystery.
